St. Teresa's Academy

It is assumed that an Academy student is college-bound. Accordingly, the school's curriculum is rigorous, proudly traditional and, at the same time, innovative.

Students choose from a broad-based curriculum with over 115 different courses selections available, ranging from calculus and chemistry to language, graphic design and theater. The individualized modular scheduling, modeled after colleges and universities, and one of the smallest student-to-teacher ratios in the city, better prepares 99% of Academy graduates who go on to college.

It is no accident that St. Teresa students routinely appear on the rolls of National Merit Scholars, and that each year a majority of the graduates receive merit-based scholarships to many of the country's most prestigious institutions of higher learning.

In an age where female students lag academically behind their male counterparts, St. Teresa's prides itself on its accelerated departments of science, mathematics and advanced technologies.

All course work is challenging, and it is common for senior students to be taking advanced college credit courses. At St. Teresa's Academy being smart and hard working is the rule, not the exception.
